So I have been seeing videos of people playing deltarune on their 3ds and I’ve been trying to find download links or QR codes and it won’t show up. Is it because it’s in beta or am I doing something wrong?
it would be great if you could figure out what project specifically you’re referring to! pretendo aren’t involved with any unofficial game ports, so this isn’t really a pretendo issue. i’ve looked it up and was able to find at least a couple of different projects working to bring deltarune to 3ds, so it really just depends on what your source is.

It was called butter scotch when I found a video about it so I guess that’s what I’m looking for.

alright, so butterscotch is a framework of the gamemaker studio runner, which lets you run games built in gamemaker (like undertale and deltarune) on different hardware that don’t have their own official ports for it.
and someone else seems to have made a fork of the project that’s compatible with 3ds, so i think this is what you’re looking for.
i don’t have any experience with either of these, so i can’t vouch for them myself, but i can see they’re both still works in progress. i assume you’ll need a copy of the game first and then put it in the folder for the designated program to run it on 3ds.
in any case, just read the info/instructions on the github page carefully, and if any of the examples you mentioned have a tutorial on how to use it to play deltarune, follow those steps as well. and ALWAYS BE CAREFUL when dealing with unfinished projects like this!! i don’t think there’s much else i can help you with unless you can clarify what method you’re using lol ╮(╯-╰)╭
