Welcome to my second guide! This guide will teach you how to get special characters in your mii’s name. This guide will have 2 parts: One for already existing miis on the Mii Maker/Channel, One for your pretendo mii.
Step One: Get your mii and convert it into a QR code or get a premade one on a website.
Step 2: Go to This website to get the symbols.
Step 3: Go to This tool too and scan your miis QR code. Once you have done that, it should look like this.
I will explain the rest of the settings later in the guide, but we are gonna be focusing on the Mii Name.
Step 4: Copy and paste your special characters and put them into mii name. They should look like rectangles on some browsers, but on Firefox it will look like unicode symbols.
Step 5: Press “Generate QR Code” And scan it using any Nintendo system. A topic to transfer to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 will be released later.
Step 6: Enjoy your mii and its legal to use on any game as long as it doesnt crash some games.
Time to explain how to do this on your pretendo mii.
Step 1: Go to the Offical Pretendo website and go to the mii maker in the website. To access that, once your at your Account page, click your mii and go to the 
Tab.
Step 2: Go to naming and rename your mii with your symbols.
And thats about it!
(On Wii U it might take some time to update the name, but on 3DS, its pretty weird. I will explain it later but i havent found a fix but i will find a way)
Anyways time to tell you all the settings.
Special Mii just gives the Mii golden pants, Profanity Mii’s are basicially Miis with a curse word in them you cant use in games. Thats all I have to cover.
