So I’ve recently changed the country on Pretendo ID settings from USA to Italy (as I’m Italian and mine is an European Wii U) but it showed me a message where there could be a chance the Pretendo Servers couldn’t work. After I changed my birthday and the country, Miiverse was still working and it showed in my account the date and the country changed, but now the problem is I can’t access Pretendo Servers anymore. I tried (as it says here: Pretendo Network ) to delete and put the account again, but it didn’t work. How do I fix this problem
I ask help to the moderators (as it says in the site if I’m still not able to connect I shall ask to the moderators)
The thing that makes me realise my console doesn’t connect to Pretendo is it doesn’t even say “Access to Nintendo Network” when I return to the menu, but directly shows it, so tell me. Do I have to change or put again Inkay files on the SD card or what?
Yes. I don’t exactly know how it was solved, but I’ll say what I did.
After I’ve changed my country and my birth date (by going on Nintendo User Settings, where I access to Pretendo Network ID settings) I’ve deleted my Pretendo account as the site I mentioned before said (Make sure you backup your save data first) and then put it again. At first, it didn’t work (Pretendo servers), and only Miiverse and Wara Wara plaza were working, so I decided to do this:
I took out the SD Card on my Wii U
I went to SD:/wiiu/environments/aroma/pl ugins/ and deleted the file inkay-pretendo.wps
I went to SD:/wiiu/environments/aroma/mo dules/ and deleted the file inkay-pretendo.wms
I went to SD:/wiiu/environments/aroma/plugins/config/ and deleted inkay.json
At first, it didn’t work. It looked like Pretendo servers weren’t still working. I then switched to another Pretendo Network Just for curiosity (not mine, another I have on the same Wii U) and tried Super Mario Maker, and it worked (as I didn’t modify anything there, while in my ID I have changed the country from USA to Italy and my birth date) then I switched again on my Pretendo Network ID, went to Super Mario Maker and this time the servers worked (strangely)
Yeah it’s confusing, but between all, maybe the concrete solution is in putting new inkay files on the SD Card, but I can’t know, because I had to wait a while before it worked again. I recommend to put this as a solution
