Figuring out 022-5432

Is there…another solution?? I’ve been looking everywhere for an answer but the nimbus application will NOT LET ME SWITCH TO NINTENDO

Just so I can mark this as solved, I’m just going to update this with the current steps I recommend people doing (since usually reinstalling Nimbus isn’t needed).

1. Open Nimbus
2. Switch to Nintendo servers
3. Open Miiverse (you should get error code 022-2882 if you have a linked NNID or 015-5015 if you don’t)
4. Exit Miiverse
5. Open Nimbus
6. Switch to Pretendo servers
7. Open Miiverse again on Pretendo to check whether it’s working properly (you should get error code 015-5015 on to confirm this, if you still get 022-5432 try following the steps again)

Since re-installing Nimbus alone didn’t work, here’s how it worked for me:

1. Switched to Nintendo Network in Nimbus
2. Deleted my NNID
3. Un- and re-installed Nimbus via Universal Updater
4. Switched to Pretendo Network in Nimbus
5. Linked my Pretendo Network account

Edit: Saw the solution only after I posted this response, so I don’t know if it would have worked; at least the way I did is a possible solution, but maybe not the most recommended one

We generally wouldn’t recommend deleting the NNID, the solution I posted is generally the solution you should do since deleting your NNID can cause unintended effects

Help, I’m getting this issue too. The problem is everytime I tried to switch back to Nintendo Network on nimbus it stuck with Pretendo Network being loaded.

Thanks for the response. Apparently updating Luma fixes the issue.
