I am using the SSSL method to get Pretendo, I followed all the steps on the guide and double checked them, I went to first try to create my Pretendo account on the wiiu, instead of the Pretendo agreement appearing the Nintendo one appears, and when made my Pretendo account on pc and tried to link it, each time I would put in my credentials it would say something like “The information is invalid, you may of used it from another service”. I redid steps a lot of times and through the wiiu internet tests as well went fine, and trying to activate my account leads to a high traffic issue thing and I cannot seem to do the code option for the wiiu. Is there any solution?
If you are using SSSL, it sounds like either:
- The DNS got reset back to auto-obtain, or
- Your ISP is now blocking the DNS redirection (therefore no longer allowing you to connect to Pretendo; this can happen sometimes)
First, check to make sure the DNS did not get removed.
If the DNS for Pretendo is still there, try connecting to a mobile hotspot for a test for your Wi-Fi with the DNS set in your Wii U Internet Settings and see if you can sign in then.
