Hi! I just made a pretendo account for me and my sister and we both have nat type B, for some reason we are unable to join the gathering hall of eachother. We can make a online session but never join one. We are both trying to play just a single room away and theres no issues with the router or connection otherwise as we can both play local play just fine. any help would be appreciated as I tried scouring for a solution but nothing so far has helped as far as I could find, I also rebooted the 3ds systems, router, and tried reinstalling nimbus as well. The error of 006-0612 is always followed by 003-4099 but trying to fix it via that has had no results.

Local play is direct console-to-console communication, meaning that you don’t need any kind of internet connection/WiFi to use it, so it might still be the fault of your router.
I believe this is a known issue with Monster Hunter on 3DS, or at least MH4U
Attempting to play online with someone on the same connection will likely fail, the alternatives are local communication or one player uses another Wi-Fi connection such as a mobile hotspot
Not sure why this is a problem though, it’s a strange one
@hoonty Are you able to test if using 2 Wi-Fi connections, like a mobile hotspot for the second one, works?
