Thank you for your patience while we resolved some issues; we wanted to give an update on how things are going. Essentially, we had an oversight in our account linking system which caused two channels to be deleted, which we have now fixed.
While investigating, we decided to temporarily remove our two Discord bots as a preventative measure and closed down the discord server. The bots turned out not to be involved, but we did have to wait a bit longer because we need Chubby for moderation.
We’ll still be working on fixes and such in the background, and hopefully we’ll be able to restore the channels, but we can’t make any promises there.

To give a quick update about the Discord server to help clarify some questions:
Some people were confused how account linking related to the channels being deleted. To put it as simply as possible, when someone unlinks their account, we’re given the ID of the user, and that ID is used in a request for the bot to remove supporter roles on the server. But with a malformed ID, the URL in the request can be modified to delete other data. We fixed the bug and separated the permissions for bots, so this kind of exploit cannot occur again.
The server is back open for chatting and support. We made permission changes to our mod bot, and had to fix account linking, but everything should be stable now!
Also, we did get a response from Discord support, and unfortunately the two channels that were deleted cannot be recovered.
