Try logging into Miiverse with the account you need to verify. It will ask for the code.
It only does that on a 3DS, not on Wii U.

You need to enter the code on your Wii U after logging in.
You do not need to verify to play online. Verification is ONLY used to get rid of the popup that happens every time you log in when turning on your console.

Last I remember, I did the Dns thing I believe, entered in the information I used to create my ptendo account like the tutorials I’ve seen, and I kept getting the same error code that my console is trying to connect to Nintendo servers and not the servers that you guys made. I will try to get the error code when I get a minute to sit down and attempt again. Hopefully tomorrow night est
Try using a mobile hotspot as your internet connection, not your regular Wi-Fi. Sometimes, ISPs just outright block the DNS redirection and you need a mobile hotspot to actually connecting if unmodded.
