Are Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 servers in the works? Not suggesting the game since the FAQ said almost all games will be supported eventually, and I don’t expect my post to rush anything, but I’m curious if it’s even planned. 
I don’t think it is at the moment, I know Pretendo is focusing more on first party games first.
From memory, Pretendo is currently working on ACNL, SSB4 and Pokémon X/Y + OR/AS.
(did black ops 2 even use the Nintendo Network? just wondering because I know the Wii games were still accessible until quite recently iirc without using a revival service)

You had to sign into Nintendo Network. I’m not sure if that constitutes “using” Nintendo Network.
Judging by this article, I think it does in fact use Nintendo Network. I know a few games apparently didn’t get shut down but I don’t have a list of any of them.
