Any progress in being able to turn off StreetPass Relay?

Greetings, i know its been a while for this post, but is there some news about the on/off switch for StreetPass Relay?

I know theres a few “Workarounds” with the WlanSwitch, Switch between NNID or PIID,
or have no one in your Friendslist, but i would like to just stay on Pretendo and use all the greate Stuff like juxtaposition.
But my goal is it, with a friend, to revive Streetpass in Germany, and i know for many ppl, they dont care with the relay, but we do. We Dont like it when we have 10 new Streetpasses every 8h, only because of Relay.

The sad Result is, that we all disable Pretendo on the 3DS again just because of the streetpass relay. And its so Sad cause we all love Pretendo and its juxtaposition.
The only way we can use juxtaposition atm is on the Wii U.

Sorry for the long post and i know its over a year old thread. But my hope is, that we all have the “good old” “Nintendo” Feeling from back in the day.

There’s a Disable SPR patch available on the Unofficial Pretendo Wiki

I’ve heard from a couple of people that it doesn’t work on their systems and instead crashes it, with the process throwing the error being BOSS, the process for SpotPass functionality, however it’s a small sample size, and there could be other things at play which is effecting the functionality of the .ips patch responsible for disabling SPR

The Disable SPR .ips patches is simply a modified version of the NetPass .ips patches with the URL for where to get SPRs made to be invalid, so SPRs are never sent out or received by the console

Hopefully this fulfils your wish to disable StreetPass Relay
