Any good Wii U games worth trying?

I’m curious if there’s any good Wii U games that I should get.

This is my current collection.

It’s hard for me to choose some games but I recommend Hyrule Warriors, Super Mario 3D World, Mario Bros U + Luigi U, Mario Kart 8, Breath of the Wild and M & S at the Olympic Games.

By the way, your game collection is cool!

CoD: BOII is really fun if you want couch multiplayer, due to the usage of TV and Gamepad Screen, as is CoD: Ghosts. Both also have great campaigns. Beside this, NfS: MWU is more or less the best way to enjoy a really fun game (except on PC).

The Ducktales remake is pretty good

just dance 4 to 2018, you can also get just dance 2 and 3, which are wii games

Try and get Starfox Zero. It’s pretty close to the new one for Switch 2 but not the same story. Visuals are pretty good and the gamepad integration is pretty cool.

Also, Star Fox isn’t taxidermied on Wii U.

You mean exclusives? Try these:

Breath of the Wild
Wind Waker HD
Yoshi’s Wooly World
Captain Toad
Pikmin 3
Paper Mario: Color Splash
TANK! TANK! TANK!

Above that, try these fantastic ports:
AC IV: Black Flag
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director’s Cut

Hey, I thought this thread was about freely collecting some inspiration for a fellow wii u owner, not about critizicing each other’s answers. He did not say he has a switch so if he has, he will know for himself which games to buy on which of his systems. I deem your response as unnecessarily lecturing and pretty intrusive.

I did not want to criticise your choice of games to suggest. However, some of the games you’ve portrayed as exclusives are not exclusives, which when deciding what game to buy might be important.

I’m sorry if it felt like that to you. Please know that I didn’t want to lecture, I only wanted to provide this information since, as I already stated above, I thought it might be important.

Look, this is a thread asking for good Wii U games. I contributed some, dividing my answers between Nintendo exclusives and third party titles. You misunderstood exclusives as Wii U exclusives and felt entitled to correct that, although noone asked for your advice. I think that’s a rude way of redefining my post into something flawed to be able to criticize it. I did not complain about you criticizing my choice, so please stop reframing my complaint into something which it is not. I also believe that it is widely known amongst gamers that old titles will be rereleased on newer generations, especially since digital download options are available, so that information is likely common knowledge and not really as impotant to mention as you might believe.

Okay let’s all calm down and get back to the topic at hand.

For good Wii U games, you can’t go wrong with Star Fox Guard (not Zero). Guard is such an underrated title!

I would like to throw in (without wanting to ignite further conflict), that Yoshi’s Wooly World, TLoZ: WW HD, Paper Mario: Color Splash and Tank!Tank!Tank! are still Wii U exclusives (if you ignore the port of YWW to the 3DS), which I am personally a huge fan of.

Rayman Legends for Wii U is good. The gamepad touchscreen is well implemented into the game.
