Hi! My friend and I have experienced an error with Pretendo, and I can’t seem to find much information on what happened/is continuing to happen.
My friend and I updated our Pretendo plugins to the new version and she visited my ACNL town. We ran around for awhile, everything seemed to run properly. When she left, however, we both got an error screen with Mr. Resetti - I unfortunately did not catch the error code on the bottom screen when this happened.
After the error, our games automatically reloaded but we had lost any progress we’d made while she was visiting. Further, if I attempted to open the town gate again I’d get an 001-0112 error. First, I tried toggling the wireless switch off and on. Then, I figured I might just need to reset, so I reset my system and tried again. Same error. After some research I found that this was Nintendo’s code for connection errors, so I ran a connection test - it was successful, and the indicator at the top of the screen showed I was connected to the internet. I opened the friends list, and it showed me as offline - after some time, the same 001-0112 error appeared.
My friend is experiencing the same issues. We’ve tried reselecting our Pretendo accounts, reconnecting to our access points, resetting our systems, and still no dice. I’m currently giving my system a couple minutes shut off to see if that helps reset everything. The only place I was able to find the Resetti Error Image we saw is on a post from when the Nintendo servers shut down (image attached.) I can’t find anyone experiencing issues similar to this one; can anyone explain what’s going on?
