I´ve bought a new 128GB SD-Card for my 3DS, and 3ds.hacks.guide says that for such a SD-Card the Allocation size (FAT32) should be set to 64k. However, the last time I´ve formated a SD-Card for my 3DS (also sized 128GB) I recall having read that 3ds.hacks.guide recommended a 32k allocation (even for 128GB SD-Cards). Now, my memory is fuzzy about that, but what I know for sure is that I used an 32k allocation size on my last SD-Card, and it worked. Now that I again want to format a 128GB SD-Card, I am unsure whether to put the allocation size to 32k or 64k. I would like to hear your opinions.

32k Allocation is recommended.

So Formatting SD (Windows) | 3DS Hacks Guide is out of date? Huh.
Section II Point 3:
- If the SD card is 64GB, choose 32768
- If the SD card is larger than 64GB, choose 65536
Huh. maybe that’s new?
I haven’t seen that before…
