I’m having this same problem, and I’m definitely on my Pretendo Account, it’s for certain different from my normal NNID, and I still keep getting an incorrect password every time, but if I delete the account to put it back on, won’t my save data go with it?

Don’t delete anything.
It says it’s wrong because you’re connected to Nintendo servers, not Pretendo.
If you’re modded, make sure Inkay is on.
If you’re using SSSL DNS redirection, make sure it’s set properly

I have an unmodded system and I made sure the settings were correct, I’ve been using the service since a few months after the official servers went down, and I haven’t changed anything since then
Well, check the DNS settings anyway.
I checked them again and they looked correct, and just to be safe, I used the pretendo setup guide on the website again and I still get the same result
Did you put in a secondary DNS (such as 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8)?
Also, what happens if you try to open Miiverse? I know it will error, but which error code do you see?
I’ve tried 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, and 9.9.9.9 as a secondary and I’ve gotten the same result. And miiverse just gives me the same error as trying to sign in to pretendo, that the password is incorrect
Try with a mobile hotspot. It’s possible your ISP is blocking it now, or something.
I think it worked? Launching miiverse gets me an infinite loading screen now, and it’s stopped asking for my password, but I haven’t had the chance to try a game yet. Might be a bandwidth issue with miiiverse, so I’ll have to mess around with my network stuff later
SSSL doesn’t work with Miiverse. But the fact that you’re not getting wrong password and it’s trying to log in means it likely is working now.
