What cool 3ds games are out there

Omg I love HHD!! You’re like the only other person I’ve seen even mention it :sob:

I love playing it to unwind after a stressful day and prefer it over NL! The normal Animal Crossing gameplay has never fully clicked with me because I’ve felt like it’s a chores-simulator :skull: I really need to pick NL up again to see if my opinion has changed lol

But anyway, Happy Home Designer is definitely worth a try and I can’t believe I forgot to mention it! :squinting_face_with_tongue:

I personally just started playing Majora’s Mask because I realized no one else in my family does (we’re a big Zelda house). They just couldn’t beat it because of the time system and difficulty. I wanted to be the first one to get through the entire game, even if I knew nothing about it.

Anyways, I just never liked GBT because it felt like an even more annoying version of WT; the Zora mechanics, the water currents, the Ice Arrow mechanics (though that one was the least annoying), and don’t even get me started on the BOSS. I know the N64 version was easier, but I’m playing the 3DS version (I’m evil), and I went through 3 fairies because I accidentally got sucked in that stupid fish’s inhalation.

Personally, my favorite dungeon is either Snowhead or Stone Tower, for their fun puzzles and mechanics. I wish there were more dungeons in Majora’s Mask, but the game’s hard enough, so I can see why they stopped at five (if you include the moon).

The switch one is a miss. Nintendo can’t replicate what Alpha Dream did, even if they tried. The first 30 minutes I played, I just got bored because it didn’t have the charm of the originals. Maybe it’s just my nostalgia for the Wii/3DS era, but it didn’t click with me. So it’s a miss. :frowning:

I haven’t played AC in a while because of two things: 1) I remember playing it 2 or 3 years ago and then getting bored because everyone literally talks about the same thing. 2) I thought it was a furry game. I’m sorry :expressionless_face:

The Swap and Oceanside Spider Houses, Secret Shrine, Beneath the Well, and the Ancient Castle of Ikana can all be seen as minor dungeons.

I know, I looked it up. I don’t count mini-dungeons, I put them as a separate list (eg: OoT has 9 dungeons and 3 mini-dungeons).

Thanks for your input though.

Real shame honestly, I remember hearing something about Acquire having a completely new and unique direction to take the series with a really rugged and worn looking art style, but Nintendo shot them down and told them to be as basic as possible. If they gave Acquire full creative control for the next game, I’m sure it would be as good as the originals in terms of quality.

It’s not a game, but I recommend Flipnote Studio 3D.

I hate it when Nintendo does crap like this. If I ever made a game company to partner with Nintendo, I’m assuring you, I’m doing the OPPOSITE of what they say, just to prove them that they’re lifeless dipwads that lost their magic when they stopped composing menu music.
