I personally played MM3DS as a kid and I actually love it, however this game is kinda controversial, some love it, some hate it. I get that you can’t share levels online like the Wii U, but I loved making levels for my sister for her birthday and stuff. How did you feel about this title?

I’ve probably had the original one on Wii U for about 9 years or something at this point and tbh I think the 3DS version sucks a bit. Unlocking items works completely differently, you can’t upload your levels online.
I’ve only played a tiny bit of the 3DS version (it came with my console) but I frankly couldn’t really care for it

It took awhile to get into but with countless hours, I enjoy it.
Personally, I really enjoy playing MM3DS, it’s one of my childhood favorites.
Though I was more centered on creating impossible levels for my older brother to try, I also enjoyed the story mode implemented.
The way you can earn new blocks and entities by progressing and completing challenges is amazing and kinda wish Mario Maker 2 had that functionality.
