Thought I’d list the things we’re working on for the next Inkay version - which will likely be named v2.7.0. These features are Coming Soon, they are not yet finished.

P2P port number overrides: For supported games (currently Minecraft: Wii U edition, Splatoon, and Mario Kart 8), the network port number used for multiplayer will be fixed instead of random.
The idea is that you can forward this UDP port in your router and get “DMZ”/Nat Type A without needing to significantly expose your console.
If you forward the port, it might improve connectivity and reduce 118- errors, especially when hosting for players on poor NAT types.
A Cemu version of this patch was added to the community graphics packs on Dec 13. -
Extra languages: Inkay is available on Weblate for community translations - thank you to everyone who’s been contributing to this! Inkay will switch languages according to your console’s system language.

Module split: Inkay will have a .wms file in addition to its .wps. We recommend allowing the Aroma Updater to manage this for you. Thankfully we’re getting ahead of future Aroma updates now instead of being broken by them
-
Reduced logging activity: If you’re a network admin or generally have a lot of Wii Us, you’ll hopefully appreciate the reduced logging in the next version. Only errors will be broadcast out on non-development builds.
