Hi guys, I just found out about streetpass relay and I’ve been using it to streetpass my friends. We try to exchange swapnotes through streetpass relay, but we never get each other’s notes. Is there something we’re doing wrong? Thanks!
Are you guys able to use SPR with other games?
Yes, I am able to receive their tomodachi life travellers and nintendo 3ds sound data. (I also don’t have a lot of streetpass activated games, and swapnote is one that is activated)
Hmm. It might just be the randomness/unreliability of SPR as a whole. All I can say is keep trying?
I’m having the same issue! Every other game including Mario Kart 7 and StreetPass Mii Plaza works just fine with StreetPass Relay but whenever I try SwapNote it won’t do anything.
I’m wondering if Swapnote just doesn’t work with Relay then? very odd.

I did ask a dev about this. They said it actually might be a software update on 3DS (firmware) or the app itself (update data) that blocks SPR (via Nintendo Zone) for this specific application.
This is just a possibility, as there should be no reason otherwise for it to not work.
