Pretendo Won’t Start

Hi guys! I’ve had pretendo on my 3DS for a while and never really quite got around to troubleshooting why it wouldn’t boot up. It’ll have me select either the Nintendo or Pretendo account and when I select Pretendo, the screen eventually turns black as if it’s going to load something up and then it boots me back to the home menu.

I’ve reinstalled both Luna and Pretendo and I’m still having the same issue. Would anyone be able to help? Not the best with understanding the technology - just pretty decent at following guides lol. Here’s what my current Luma screen looks like:

That’s normal. Correct me if I’m wrong here, but the system basically reboots to accommodate the network changes. Try opening a game that has online features to see if it works.

Aren’t I supposed to log in somewhere with my pretendo account?

Using Nimbus, switch to the Pretendo Servers and set up your PNID as you would for an NNID. You will be connected.

(Ensure that you have External FIRMS enabled as well as Enable Game Patching, in Luma3DS.)
