Hi I’m using the easy way to get pretendo and when I turned off my wiiu and went back to Splatoon it seems I’m back at square 1 none of my online features are working
By easy way do you mean the sssl method?
Oh I’m glad someone else posted this as it is no longer a just me issue. I might help clarify their situation.
I started to troubleshoot this over the last few hours.
I’m using the SSSL connect method and I’m getting an error of 104-2210 when I try to get online for a battle. (I am also not getting the news at start showing my system is not on the server). Any information I’ve found regarding this error only refers to if you are connected via a hacked system and running inkay. Taking a stab at it I justed deleted my shared data for Splatoon and restarted the game and no luck.
I’ve also checked my inet connection by doing a test and it is saying I am connecting to the network (re-entered the DNS codes as a just in case) before I deleted the shared data.
I also investigated to see what my NAT type is as referenced in this post [Guide] Detecting your NAT type on Wii U and 3DS consoles . Which is giving me a code of 120-00 marking me as a NAT type B.
I haven’t signed on in awhile, but I was playing Splatoon at least back in the fall through SSSL so I had it working in the past. Just was itching to play a couple maps. So I will appreciate any help.
I am not the best with troubleshooting SSSL, especially with residual issues from the recent maintenance.
If you both are able to access your Friends List on Wii U and see friends online or add PNIDs, then SSSL is working and it’s just a Splatoon issue.
But if you can’t even do that, then SSSL could either be down or needs to be re-inputted on your DNS settings.
Yeah, I’m about to chalk it up to that as I know the Splatoon servers just came out of really long maintenance.
I actually remembered I had Mario Maker so I was able to check the connectivity with Pretendo with that (no problems) before making this response.
But thanks anyway, hopefully the issue will resolve soon.
Yes I do mean the ssl sorry I wasn’t clear
Thank you for your help. I’ll give it another go soon. Hope it works
