Does anyone know why my Wii U says that I entered the info for another service when I try to link my Pretendo ID to a new user that I’m trying to set up? I created an account (this one) and when I enter the email, username, and password, it says that I entered for another service.
If it helps to know, I’m am connected to Pretendo using SSSL.
Also, 2nd question: Anyone know why even though I’m connected to pretendo, when I try to do MarioKart 8 online, it still says that the service is unavailable as if it’s trying to connect to nintendo servers and not pretendos? Again, connected via SSSL.
Are you sure you’re using the Pretendo DNS? Just want to double check
My primary DNS is 88.198.140.154 and the secondary DNS is 9.9.9.9.
Try using a mobile hotspot.
Sometimes, ISPs and routers can block the DNS, even if it worked before.
Fortunately, I happen to have one. I’ll try it.
Also, which issue will this solve? The MarioKart 8 Issue, or the Pretendo ID linking issue?
Ok! I tried it, and it worked! I was able to successfully enter a MarioKart 8 Tournament and create a new user and link a PNID! Thank you for your help!
Is there a way to have my router not block the DNS? I don’t want to use my mobil hotspot forever with my Wii U…
I don’t know if there is, unfortunately. Maybe you can call the ISP, but other than that… 
I’m not very handy. Would you mind telling me what an ISP is
