Will there be any database wipes once Pretendo is finished? I know that Juxt will probably undergo a database wipe, but what will happen to other data, such as the Wii U friend list or MK8 online VR?
We do not currently have any plans for future database wipes. While it’s certainly possible it will happen in the future, we can’t predict that right now. We have had database wipes in the past, they mostly come about as we learn new things about how games operate and may have data which is incompatible with our new findings, but only time will tell if that happens again.
I won’t say no, but I’m also not saying yes.
