Does Pretendo have plans to offer a “FastPass” type service for when the servers are overloaded where you’re given priority?
I would pay $5 a month for such a service, or maybe even $10.
I doubt this is anything we’ll ever consider. Hopefully someone higher up responds, but I don’t personally like the idea of this and I don’t think the servers get overloaded most of the time from what I’m aware.
I don’t like this idea either and assuming this would be added to super mario or something even as someone with super mario i would not want that feature

What’s a FastPass anyway?
I believe it’s essentially something that you could pay for at certain theme park resorts where you could get on rides quicker than other people

Actually the idea originated in Disney parks and it was free over there.
You went to a ride, there was a machine, you inserted your park admission ticket and it spit out a “FastPass” with a time window.
Before the time window started, you could do anything you wanted, and during the time window you could come back to the ride and access the faster FastPass line.
It now doesn’t exist and they replaced it with a paid Lightning Lane, but if it’s a bad idea to make it paid, I suggest doing it like the traditional FastPass where you could check in and get a timeslot during which you can play on faster servers.
There is only one server, not faster or slower ones.
Well, the current server I’m on took 2 minutes to post to the Pretendo forums so I’d gladly pay or wait for it to be faster.
Pretendo is undergoing maintenance. Issues, slowdowns, etc. are expected during maintenance.

Most of the issues with Pretendo servers arent even the overload of users, its mostly because of the implementation not being perfect (having errors and stuff), because there is likely not a need for this.
