Please Help. Accidentally used same ID as NNID. Unable to add friend on 3DS, say's please wait but doesn't do anything after

(3DS) Please help. Unable to find an answer :frowning:

I have accidentally used the same ID as my NNID. And I am unable to add my friend. I am wondering if this is because of using the same ID as NNID. No errors, just says please wait then goes back to the friends screen having done nothing.

Also a post mentioned something about you can make a new account/PNID, but although I have done this, I can’t unlink/change my account on the device.

Can someone help please. Would be appreciated.

The only way this can be resolved (since you used the same PNID as your NNID.) is to delete your account and create a new PNID.
