I used to have a similar experience back when people thought the Wii U sucked (how times have changed). My Miitopia cartridge would often spit out errors, and I was horrified, thinking that my Switch might be corrupted. Luckily, the game is still playable.

Usually a turbo button presses a button multiple times per second (e.g. on a non-automatic shooter in Splatoon 2/3, you could have turbo mode enabled on ZR for it to shoot constantly).
