- go to U+200B ZERO WIDTH SPACE - Unicode Explorer and copy it
- if it has less than 20 chars hold ctrl+v until it’s at 20+ chars
- done

That’s the main downside of PNIDs being available to register without a Nintendo device tbh
You could only register a NNID if you had a 3DS or Wii U and it was essentially a walled garden, so if Nintendo wanted to keep a persistent troll out, they could just ban their console certificate from Nintendo Network and they would be left with no options but to buy another console if they wanted to keep trolling - and let’s be honest, most trolls don’t have money to spend on it.
