Okay, so I’ll go through the Direct step-by-step:
Rhythm Heaven Groove looks good.
Rayman Legens Retold is an unnecessary remake that looks worse than the OG. Rayman and realism is a horrible combination.
The Pokémon Pokopia update looks alright, nothing game-changing, but a level that actually uses the underwater feature being Paid DLC is pure corporate greed.
I am not a Fire Emblem guy, but it looks alright.
DK Challenge is fine.
More DLC for DKB[1] is not unsurprising.
It’s stupid for the new Features of the Xenoblade Chronicle Remakes to be limited to each game, when it’s clear that the games are being remade simultaneously by the same team.
Xenoblade Genesis looks less impressive than X, but seems to be a just as good game, even if it is a bit smaller scoped.
What did they do to Wii Sports Resort!?!?!?

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort looks horrible. The new games seem boring, enjoyable for a few minutes at best, and that Koizumi used a Mii instead of a Sportsmate shows how flawed Sportsmates really are.
Splatoon Raiders looks like a continuation in some ways of the Splatoon (1) campaign, and a very good one at that.
Minecraft for Switch 2 is just Bedrock (of course), which I still find unacceptable, but atleast unlike on Switch, it’ll be playable. Hopefully. (I want LCE back)
TLoZ: OoT is dead before arrival to me. I don’t mean it’s bad, but I’ve played the OG, I’ve played the 3DS remake, and it’ll take a lot of improvements for me to play a third version of the same game. It is, as already stated, a great game by all means, but Nintendo can’t remake N64 games for eternity. (Of course they can, they’re doing it with Starfox too, but they shouldn’t.)
And, last but not least, my personal highlight: Pikuniku 2. I had a great experience with the first one, and the sequel seems to be equally great. A bit disappointing that Nintendo didn’t produce my highlight, but the pronounciation lies on personal.
All in all, passable direct, I still miss Iwata.
