Newbie Questions (Nintendo Accounts and Pretendo

Question I have a 3ds XL console with Pretend and modified. On the one hand I have an official Nintendo account and on the other hand I have an account with Pretendo… But both use the same email, password, same area of residence, birthday and same mii and nickname, but different ID (well it’s almost similar except that one of them has a script :sweat_smile:). First I had the Official Nintendo account and then I created the Pretendo account from the console already placed on the Pretendo server and I only made a small modification to the ID.

My question is if I can have the original Nintendo account or should I delete it due to the ban issue. Thank you very much :smiling_face:, I am new to the topic of modified / hacked consoles and I am adapting :sweat_smile:

You can keep the original NNID. We never recommend removing it as digital games are tied to that account and you might want to use your NNID to access services like Pokémon Bank.

You won’t get banned on Nintendo Network for using Pretendo.

And there is no problem using Netpass either, right? And there is no problem using Netpass either, right? because of the banning issue that worries me a lot :face_with_peeking_eye:

It’s perfectly fine to use NetPass too! I don’t personally recommend it but there’s nothing stopping people from using it.

Essentially the StreetPass parser has some flaws. The StreetPass Relay function on Pretendo Network is limited to friends only because of the flaws with the parser.

Extract from a Discord message: With our implementation, StreetPass Relay now works GLOBALLY, removing the need to be at a physical access point! You can now passively gain passes with other Pretendo users simply by being online. At the time of writing we already have 59,573 pieces of StreetPass data from 7,464 unique users, ready to be relayed to others! There are 2 things note, however: 1. You must be using the latest release of Nimbus for StreetPass Relay to function. Previous versions do not have the correct URL patches for StreetPass Relay. You can download the latest release here https://github.com/PretendoNetwork/Nimbus/releases/latest>; 2. Due to the questionable quality of the StreetPass parsers inside games and the fact that StreetPass Relay happens automatically, you can ONLY gain passes with people who you are friends with on the 3DS friends server.
