Need Help Confirming My Validation Code on 3DS

Hi everyone, I need some help.

When I try to confirm my validation code, I get the following message:

“Web email validation is currently unavailable due to high traffic. Please try again later. Verifying via the code sent to your email on a 3DS or Wii U is still possible.”

My question is: how can I confirm my code using my 3DS? I’m not sure what steps to follow.

If someone could explain how to do it, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks a lot!

Open Miiverse when your PNID is linked and you should be prompted to verify

When I try to access Miiverse on my Nintendo 3DS, I get the error 015-5015, which says:

“An error has occurred. Please try again later. If the problem continues, write down the error code and visit nintendo.com.”*

I already created an account on Pretendo and installed Pretendo on my 3DS.

*What should I do in this case? Is there a way to fix it or something I’m missing?

You need to link your PNID to your console given that you’re getting that error code

Link your account in System Settings >> NNID Settings at the top

Is that the Nintendo Network step? I’ve tried to do it but it won’t let me.
Could you please explain how to do that step? Sorry if I’m being a bit persistent, it’s just a little confusing for me.

I’m using a Pretendo account, not a real Nintendo account, and I think I might be entering the wrong info or doing something wrong.

I entered:

My Pretendo email
The passwor* of my Pretendo account
And my PNID

Could someone please explain exactly what I need to enter and where? I already created my PNID on the Pretendo website and installed it on my 3DS.

You have to log into the Pretendo account on the 3DS in system settings. It is done in the Nintendo Network ID settings area.

What error code are you getting when you try entering this information?

I get Error 022-2163, and when i try to log into the nintendo network I click on link an existing Network ID and I put all the information needed and it shows to me the error.
So I don’t know what i have to do to fix that.

If you open Nimbus, which does it say “Loaded” under? Pretendo or Nintendo?

This error code means the credentials are wrong; likely connected to Nintendo servers and not Pretendo
