I have followed this guide to find out my NAT type and try to fix it. It still stays at NAT type D and get the same error code in MH4U. It works fine on other networks. Is there anything I can do or is my network just bad.

It’s your network.
I recommend calling your Internet Service Provider (ISP) to discuss it with them to allow more P2P (peer-to-peer) connections.
