Basically, there exists an exploit in Minecraft Wii U called “RCE” (Remote Code Execution) where someone can execute arbitrary code at will (“remotely”) to do whatever the code wants.
Enough that if they wanted, someone can permanently brick someone else’s Wii U.
This is why it’s friends only. Only add and play with people you trust. If they do something bad, it’s not Pretendo’s fault because it is friends only.

The only games I actually play on Pretendo currently are Splatoon (occasionally) and Dr. Luigi (Wii U) and Dr. Mario Miracle Cure (3DS).
There are many games I am looking forward to, though.

unrelated but also someone can make the forbidden machine
thus making all the target consoles in the servers crash, insulting in a really rare brick for one or 0 wiius in a minigame server

Impossible. That requires a game patch, not a server patch.
