Whenever I try to open Miiverse, it says I have a connection error and that if the error persists I should close Miiverse. I’ve tried to follow the instructions on some of the comments I saw on other similar posts, but nothing changed. Is it just me?

A communication error happens if you dont have juxt-prod.pem in SD:\3ds or miiverse patch files in SD:\luma\sysmodules and SD:\luma\titles, to fix it download nimbus from universal updater
This may not work but still worth trying.
If that didn’t work then i have no idea to fix.
Ditto, I’ve been all over the website and reddits, and all the help has boiled down to disconnecting and reconnecting to Pretendo, reinstalling Nimbus using Universal Updater, making sure the correct IPS patch files are in your luma folder, making sure Luma is up to date, opening eshop while connected to Nintendo and then reconnecting to Pretendo, and trying other wifi. Any of these sound like they could work, and they’ve worked for other people, so I recommend you try, but they didn’t work for me.
Edit: forgot one of the most popular causes of this issue, having a “rev.perm” file in your sd/3ds folder. It’ll only be there if you used some other software that’s now depreciated and it interferes with Juxt, so you can delete it. I do not have such a file so I’m stuck still.
