I am hoping for online capabilities! I need to download the dlc sigh

Do you guys think pretendo will release a way to do it? I have my fingers crossed. It would be amazing to play with other people and fight some of the harder content. Anyways here’s to what could be.
I doubt Pretendo will do anything and if it was DLC offered by the eShop, we certainly won’t (if it’s just DLC that you can get by going online, we might).

Can you still download dlc from the eshop by switching back to Nintendo in nimbus? Or is this just for updating games?

If this is a game with “DLC” from online event distribution data, Pretendo would support a DNS redirection when the game gets support. It already does for MH3U (3DS/Wii U) and MH4U (3DS).
Pretendo does not host the content, however. But Pretendo does support the DNS redirection to the host.
I’m not sure if MH Generations already has this host elsewhere, though.
