Ever since 30/5/25 me and some other players have been encountering a 006-0102 error when trying to search for a Worldwide lobby in Mario Kart 7. We’re able to make an initial connection to the servers completely fine, however it times out after selecting your character/combo. Community rooms are working completely fine so I believe this is an error with the matchmaking server for Worldwides specifically. Hopefully this can get passed onto the devs so they can help get lobbys going again!

Hi i’m having the same problem, i can’t play online, i mean a normal worldwide race, it says error 006 0102 
I think it is a confirmed issue now.
There is no projected time for a fix, unfortunately.
When connecting from Japan, I also get the same error code 006-0102.
Same here. Literally bought my n2DSXL to play MK7 online and can’t. ouch.
