Juxtaposition crashes when opening through app icon on Wii U

essentially, whenever i open miiverse through the app icon the console freezes like so:

there is also no loading chime accompanying it, and all buttons (except for tv remote) are unresponsive, forcing me to do a force reboot on my console. i am certain however that juxt is properly installed because i could join a gym community in Wii Fit U and post on it successfully. no error code. could anyone help? thanks!

Maybe this IS a connection issue you can try disabling pretendo and enabling It again if It dosent work you can also try reinstalling inkay if It dosent work i could still try to help but i dont think i’ll have that much ideas for it.
Btw if you are using ssl IS not possible to use miiverse i assume you are not but just need to say as miiverse in ssl works for things like wii fit u comunities.

im too dumb for this… what is ssl :sob: how do i check if im using it

Go to system settings, internet connection list select ur internet go to DNS and check if its on auto obtain or not.
If yes then you are not conected to ssl.
If no you probably are.

Oh and if you have Aroma installed you shouldnt use ssl.
Because you can have inkay that works better.
Also.
WARNING
NEVER AND I SAY NEVER USE SSL AND INKAY AT THE SAME TIME THIS CAN CAUSE A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THE CONNECTION AND YOULL PROBABLY NEED TO RECREATE YOUR CONNECTION.(Doing that only harms The connection between you and pretendo It wont harm your console)

so i checked and my dns is set to auto-obtain, therefore i assume im not using ssl. im trying again, but still it doesn’t work.

Are you using Aroma?

not sure 100% but in the wii u plugin system config menu i have: Aroma Base Plugin; DRC Region Free Plugin; Homebrew On Wii U Menu Plugin; Inkay; Region Free Plugin and Wii U Time Sync. Does that mean im on aroma? it probably does doesn’t it

It means you are go to inkay and press A check if Connect to pretendo is on

Ok… This may be a difficult one but try to erase inkay DONT ERASE UR PNID FROM THE WII U
And reinstall It from The pretendo.network/docs/
Page on install pretendo and wii u
If that dosent work i’ll try to find another solution i’ll be here if you need help

I mean power off ur wii u put your sd on your pc go to wiiu environents Aroma plugins and delete inkay.rpx

should i boot w/o inkay, or just reinstall? i just downloaded the latest ver… should i try nightly too?

No i mean to delete inkay from ur sd card download It again and put It as It may be a inkay issue or not as i also had a issue today trying to Connect to juxt

This is not common to happen as you should be able to boot into juxt when you modded your wii u
