Should I add Friend Codes from people using the unofficial subreddit r/PretendoHub?

Is it equally safe to use Friend Codes from the subreddit as it is for getting FCs from the exchange topic?

What’s the difference between a friend code on Reddit and a friend code on the forums exactly? Nothing.

Looking at it that way, it does make sense.
I mean, they’re both Pretendo users, after all!
