Guys I need to change my pretendo email I made a typo, is there a mod or someone I can speak to? I need my proper email

You can change your email on console, we can’t change your email for you

I tried but on the website here it says invalid and on the wiiu when I click send confirmation email it doesn’t send

You probably have tried this, but did you ensure you checked Spam/Trash mail?

If the confirmation email doesn’t send, try this:

  1. Go to the place on on console to change email
  2. Change it to the same email; this usually re-triggers the email send manually

Wait. So you entered the wrong email on your account, you changed the email, you tried to send the code but it doesn’t send due to it being invalid. In that case my advice was out of context, apologies. I am unsure what to do at this point sorry.

So basically when I changed my email on the wiiu like you said I don’t get an email, on this website it says my email is invalid, and I also can’t add friends (assuming this is because of the email)

On the Forum specifically, it always says invalid. The “email” here is actually just the PID (Principal ID) tied to the PNID itself.

Adding friends is unrelated to email. Email is used for 2 things:

  1. Resetting password
  2. verification (which itself does nothing except getting rid of the nag message when signing in)

When you log in on http://pretendo.network/ - does it show the correct email there?

That’s good at least. I can still assist with verification if you want. If my previous suggestion didn’t work - “changing” the email to itself - I usually recommend the same thing but with an added step.

  1. Change the email to something different (make sure it’s still an email you own, of course)
  2. Change it again back to the email you want to use

And when it comes to adding friends, what error code do you get when it isn’t working?

So whenever I add a friend it gives me error code 115-5016, people can add me but I can’t add them. Yes I entered it correctly

115-5016 is not a Friends Error, that is a Miiverse error (115 is the module code for Miiverse).

Are you trying to add them within the Friend List app itself?

Yes. I use the wiiu, am I adding them on the wrong thing?

115-5016 is a Miiverse error code. Miiverse is the green people icon on the home menu.

Friend List is the orange face icon. That is where you add friends.
