I don’t know why it is happening, but I just had the same issue. I can watch the news, but the moment I click to join a ranked match it says a communication error occurred.
It seems like it may be an issue with everyone, not you being banned.

A lot of people are having the same issue. It isnt just you. Me and a ton of other people as well. Just wait it out and try again tomorroq.
