It only lets me pull up the plugin menu despite me having installed both the MK7 plugin and the MK7 PID grabber. Is it because both menus supposedly get pulled up using the select button? I’d really appreciate any advice. Thanks.
Is this plugin you’re talking about a cheat plugin?
I know the PID grabber is a thing, but what is this other plugin?
The other one is a cheat plugin that has things like 200cc, unlock everything, etc. I don’t use any cheats online though. I’d really appreciate it if you could tell me how to pull up the PID grabber, because as of now it only pulls up the cheat plugin. Thanks.
Don’t use the cheat plugin, I guess. I have no idea otherwise.
So I should uninstall the cheat plugin? Are you sure that’s the only way to get the PID grabber to work? If so, do I just delete the plugin from luma’s plugin folder and that’s it? In your opinion, is it worth uninstalling the cheat plugin one just to have the PID grabber hopefully work? Which one would you recommend keeping?
Try to see if removing it works.
I’ve never used either - as I don’t play Mk7.
This is just throwing something out there but for me if i want to change plugins for a game if you are using the built in luma system i just download from universal updater what i want and it replaces the other plugin
Oh also one last thing to add plugins like vapecord and the cheat one (unsure about the pid grabber) from my experience have changeable pop up buttons so you could try and open up one of those and then set it to select + A or something and see if that works
I don’t think the cheat plugin has a way to pull it up other than select, which is the same for the PID grabber, which is why it only pulls up the cheat plugin. Both are installed.
Did you try what I said?
Temporarily remove the Cheat plugin and see if the PID grabber works.
If it does, then you just can’t use both at the same time, and to talk to the developer(s) of the plugins if you want them to change the button prompt.
Ok, I’ll give it a try. How would I reach out to the developers to see if they can make it so that both menus pull up as opposed to just one?
Github, most likely, If they allow making an Issue there.
Ok, I’m assuming I’ll need to create an account for Github if I want to mention an issue there, assuming they’ll let me mention an issue on there.
Are you sure there’s no way to change the button load out so that I can pull up both menus while in Mario kart 7? I’m still trying to look into it, but can’t seem to find an answer on how to change the MK7 cheat plugin’s button load outs or the PID grabber’s button load outs.
I don’t play MK7. But if there isn’t anything on the GitHubs’ readme’s then there probably isn’t.
So I just looked, and I found that the PID grabber could be set to other buttons. However, both plugins still can’t be installed at the same time, because only one of them will work at a time, even if I try to switch the PID grabber pull up menu to start and the MK7 cheat plugin one to select. So, I just uninstalled the cheat plugin and kept the PID grabber, for now.
Unrelated to this topic, but is changing your age available now on the 3DS since the topic is closed, or did you just close the topic until your age is available to be changed on the 3DS? Also, how come I just now earned the member badge and had to do the advanced tutorial thing, even though I’ve been a member for a while now?
Topic was closed because it was answered.
You cannot change it on 3DS yet.
And idk how Discourse handles that kinda stuff, sorry. xD
Oh ok, so that’s why it was closed. As for Discourse, mysterious indeed. If I had to make a guess, I think it’s because I hadn’t liked anyone’s post yet and so when I did that, that was the last step to become a full-fledged member for me. I think that’s why the disco bot thing messaged me after that.
Yeah there are things about that. When I became a Forum Mod, I was originally Level 2, and then promoted to Level 4.
The person who promoted me said I would have gotten Level 3 automatically if I had liked more posts. xD
