It pops up with a message. It says: Could not initialize NDSP (sound service) This is probably because you haven’t run DSP1. You can download it from the link below: Releases · zoogie/DSP1 · GitHub If you are on Luma3DS v11.0 or later, You can open Rosalina menu, go to Misc. options → Dump DSP firmware instead. Press A to close the app. What do I do to get FourthTube installed successfully because I don’t have a computer, and would have to go to the library to try and do something. That’s assuming their desktop computers are even able to edit SD cards on the computer. Please help. Thanks.
Also, how do I delete unneeded files? I accidentally downloaded the Nazi Zombies 3DS port and deleted it and it still shows a little icon thing next to it indicating it’s still downloaded on my SD card somewhere because in Universal Updater after you download something a little icon appears to the right of it. How do I get that to go away? Thanks again for any advice and help.
I don’t have a GBAtemp account, only this Pretendo account on Discourse. Also, again, I don’t have a computer so I really can’t do much besides go into a library and see if they’re able to let me edit my SD card in their computers and even then I still don’t know understand how to get FourthTube working. I also need to know how to delete unnecessary files like Nazi Zombies from the SD card and stuff.
Universal updater has the stuff to get it installed right. Dumping DSP firmware is perfectly possible without a computer and can be done in the rosalina menu. To access it, press L + DOWN + SELECT while the system is on.
I installed FourthTube, but again, the issue is what I posted above. I need to be able to download from the link I mentioned somehow and get it onto the right place in my SD card to get FourthTube working.
Yes but I need the software or whatever from the link I posted installed first.
Do you have another device capable of reading an SD card? (E.g, Phone)
No, but if my library’s computers can read SD cards then that might work. But again, I’d have to click on the link install it somewhere on the SD card, which I don’t know where and then load up ForthTube and dump the thing into it via Rosalina.
Do you have a homebrew ap store such as universal updater? (DSP1 Is available there.)
Yes, I have Universal Updater.
How do I find it and dump it successfully? I appreciate the help.
Then you can get DSP1 through there instead of using a computer. Either way, Luma3DS is capable of doing the same thing DSP1 can do through the Rosalina menu.
Ok, so for someone that needs DSP1, how do I find it in Universal Updater and get it installed via Rosalina or Luma3DS into FourthTube?
Launch the Universal Updater, then go to the search and search “DSP1” or, scroll down until you find it. Install it, and then after you launch it, it’ll look something like this:
Ok, I’m searching for it now, and will keep you posted. Thanks for your help.
This will get the job done, but if you have an up to date Luma3DS, it’ll work better. to use the Rosalina Menu.
I do have Luma3DS up to date.
Just let me know the best way to do it. Should I install it from the universal updater and then launch luma3ds?
Then DSP1 isn’t needed. Instead, open the Rosalina menu, then navigate to “Miscellaneous options” and “Dump DSP Firmware.”
