How do I install plugins

I would like to know how to install plugins and when do I install them at the end of everything or at the beginning and where to install them on the SD card I think I would like to mod my Wii U

This is not Pretendo-related, but anyway you need to put the plugin on the Aroma plugins folder on SD Card, Or just download the plugin on HB App Store that is much easier.

Ok thank you! Btw will homebrew do anything to make Wii U GPU, this is getting technical

Generally, homebrew do not affect the console hardware, However, i don’t recommend using homebrew that directly affect the NAND unless it’s really necessary and you know what you’re doing

Which homebrew affects the nand

Check out Funkyscott47 on youtube. He does very well at explaining everything in his video’s. I just modded my Wii U today

Yeah I watching him right now :joy::joy::heart:

To install apps or games you need wup installer GX2, there are two versions of this I spent about half hour trying to figure out why it wasn’t on my wii U dashboard. lol This is the guild I followed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTJ3cShA6AI The youtube guild is on another video, he’s got a ton of videos though.

That was the exact guide I was following :joy: I will be getting apps via the HB app store, I will be modding on Friday. Also, I will not be adding my Homebrew to my vwii as of right now.

No Homebrew specifically affects the NAND Directly, I mean they kinda do sure. If you install apps to NAND that affects the NAND btw the chances of a NAND Failure are about 1 in 10000! Don’t worry too much, Homebrew is great!

I would advise you not to recommend a videoguide. They can sometimes be inaccurate or contain bad advice.

Please use https://wiiu.hacks.guide to install CFW.

AHHHH! NO NO NO! Only use Wii U Hacks Guide please!

It’s a good resource if you’ve never hacked anything (like myself) and just want to see what steps are involved. I probably wouldn’t have modded my system if I didn’t watch his video and see how easy it was.

Regardless, Videos are constantly going outdated, to prevent a brick, use an article guide.

If you followed along in the video you would have backed your nand up onto your computer, where you can make a recovery SD card and save your bricked Wii U.

Your Wii U can brick simply by having a HYNIX chip in it (completely OEM without modding), see video below for more information on how to prevent this from happening to you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEGSSdykAt8

I couldn’t find this information on the guild because it does not exist.

The steps that he does are on with the guide, (idk about the vWii part tho) I did read the guide and he does the steps that the guide does. He just makes it easier to understand the guide the guide is a little bit hard to understand but he makes it easier to.

EDIT: the guide was in fact outdated, I will only be following the wiiu.hacks.guide.

Thank you for your help

Also very important thing do I download the wuhb file or the .zip file for the HB app store

“.wuhb” stands for “Wii U Homebrew” so that is the file you use for the HB App store, and it goes in:

SD:/wiiu/apps/
