New Leaf is currently in beta, with all features working except for Dream Suite (I think it’s just that one?)

In order to use the online capabilities of new leaf you must have the super Mario tier subscription (or higher) and your code white listed. I was able to send a letter but only when I was in that person’s town. I usually just write a message to my future self then keep it in me and I change the address when in that person’s village.

That’s the same on Nintendo Network btw. It’s a shame considering Let’s Go To The City didn’t require you to be in your friend’s town (although that went through WC24) and New Horizons doesn’t either (not sure about WW).

I know the concept is just weird. I wish it was like the other games.

Edit: oh the ds game. I never considered it because the game hardly has any online stuff, or maybe it does? I never tried it.

It did, but it was pretty barebones.
