Group Chats on Juxt? (Can I get an update on this 3/27/25)

I was wondering if there was a way to keep in touch with my Minecraft smp playerbase without having to make a post to the community that only few would see before it would drown in other posts. Chats on the forum have a 20 person cap so that’s why I was asking.

Currently there is no group chat feature on Juxtaposition, the closest we have is Private messaging, but that limits to one person. Perhaps you should make a discord for it?

Yeah but not everyone has discord (like me) and I know that everyone has juxt which is why I proposed the idea

its a good idea! ngl, i feel you abt discord im 15 andmy parents act like im 12 and banned discord from my phone…

I don’t think it existed in original Miiverse, so it likely won’t exist here.

Also, there is still the issue of the post limit bug in DMs.

welllllllllll
juxt is not miiverse
simple inspired ig, it is possible ik this, but its the bugs that would kill it

Pretendo is a Nintendo Network Revival.

From what I understand, it’s to have feature-parity with original Nintendo Network, not go above-and-beyond.

Sure, we handle some things differently (like Juxt rules compared to Miiverse rules) but that doesn’t change the core features.

But either way, currently there are no plans for group DMs.

Pretendo does not add anything extra they just revive the service if they do add anything “extra” most of the time it is just a homebrew community for example for a simple example minecraft 3ds does not have online support prentendo won’t give online support to it since it did not have it in the first place same with juxt i imagen

im just saying they have the power to do it
not they should

I don’t know if that’s entirely true.

I mean, we do have 3DS Streetpass Relay.

Nintendo did have it but only at Nintendo Zones - Pretendo simply repurposed the tech into a new feature.

So it just depends, I guess?

I doubt this will be added, but I am not a Juxt dev. But there are certainly no plans at this moment. :man_shrugging:

I think that Pretendo does want to add additional features at some point. Heck, I’ve personally suggested to add some features that Miiverse never had and they’ve been approved.

We’ve already seen how Pretendo has added additional stuff too or adjusted things for fun or a better quality of life experience through Splatoon. We had a banned stages weekend for ranked battles at some point and rotations were adjusted to be 2 hours long after a community poll.

Well if group chats do happen I hope they have like a 100 person limit (like how PlayStation does it) and only the owner can add people while anyone can leave if they please
