For those having problems with the Rose Patcher plugin:

To clear up any misinformation, Rose Patcher is in no way a malicious plugin. It simply provides access to Project Rose’s Nintendo TVii revival.

I am creating this post because I have seen multiple people - both in Project Rose and on this forum - say that after installing Rose Patcher, Aroma would not boot up. This has happened to me too and the solution is to update Aroma.

The latest build of the Rose Patcher aroma plugin was built for the latest version only. This means that in order to use it, Aroma must be on the latest version.

To update Aroma, head to Aroma Updater (If Rose Patcher is blocking access, temporarily remove it.) If it says Base-Aroma has an update, please go through with it and restart. Afterwards, you can reinstall Rose Patcher and it should work normally.

That’s the whole guide. I made this post to clear up any misinformation that Rose Patcher is malicious. I hope this helped.

Just before I forget, if anything perhaps a reason why Roseverse can include the original Miiverse theme but not Pretendo by default is for trademark reasons (You can really trademark anything, huh):

It’s my opinion that Pretendo should be much more careful than other projects due to our scale and, yes, donation model. Smaller projects are smaller fish and can get away with more. Also, the Yeah icon is certainly trademarked.
