Error Code 118-0502 (SSSL)

Hello!

I personally use SSSL to connect to pretendo since I tried homebrewing my WiiU for hours and it didn’t really wanna work for me so I just opted for the simpler option.
When I set it up yesterday, everything worked fine and I played some Splatoon matches, I’d say about 5, maybe? When I logged back info the console today, it started giving me the message “Unable to connect to partner’s device, as partner did not respond”. I don’t know where it came from and when I searched up the code in the Pretendo Troubleshooting, it just showed “Unknown Cause” and “Unknown Solution”. I was really excited to play Splatoon again yesterday and this is upsetting me a lot honestly :frowning: I don’t know what to do about this or what made it happen considering everything worked fine yesterday

This error is a P2P error.

Can you try looking at your NAT Type? [Guide] Detecting your NAT type on Wii U and 3DS consoles

I’ll look at my NAT type tomorrow, tho due to the fact that matchmaking worked yesterday I don’t think it’s a problem with my NAT? Or can that just get worse out of nowhere?

Not “worse” but it’s always possible that before, you had people all compatible with you. But now those players may not be (their NAT doesn’t work for yours) which causes this error.
