Error code 006 0102 happens everytime i want to play a game online

Every time I want to play online in games like Mario Kart and Smash Bros I get this error, but not in Mario Maker or Miiverse. My console is an American one and is updated to the latest version, Nimbus is also updated (if that matters) and I think I’ve done all the steps correctly. Does anyone know why this error occurs?

I believe this is an issue with the actual NEX backend/servers. It states on the error code search. By the way this post may help: Error code 006 0102 or 006 0502 in Super Mario Maker - #6 by Heizenberg

Alright, thank you very much

No Problem!

Have a good one!

Hello
I have the same problem, did you find a solution ?

Currently, I don’t believe there will be a solution unless action is taken, though the service also has many another things to do I guess. Only time will tell! This is unfortunately an issue with an entire connection module (ACT). Have a lovely day!!!

A strange thing is that when I delete the V1.2 update and play Mario Kart 7 V1.1, it works fine. But when I reinstall the V1.2 update, I get the same 006-0102 error again. Is there a logical explanation for this?

Oh, so sorry for the belated reply. I assume V1.2 and 1.1 both use different modules/systems for connection. I do not know anything further yet I hope this fixes itself.

As far as I know, they should be virtually identical other than the fact that 1.2 patches out ENLBufferPwn (which is related to NEX iirc).

Oh cool! Thanks for the info.

@Sahbito, @GrilledCheesus Is this still an issue?
