I was able to connect to pretendo fine 3 hours ago, but now I hget this weird error code I can’t find anything about.
Can anyone help me?

Well, I have an older WiiU PNID. Today I wanted to connect my 3ds to pretendo. So I installed Nimbus and linked my PNID.
I was able to connect to MK7 and play a few rounds. Then suddenly a few hours later I get this error.
At first I tought it was related to maintenance, but now it’s done and I still get this error.
I get the error on MK7 and when opening the friends list.
- PNID is not used on anything on 3DS except for Juxt - games use friend codes only, not PNIDs on 3DS.
- Did you touch Nimbus at all since playing Mk7 online?
- Can you open Miiverse and tell me what you see?
I repeatedly switched back and forth fro Nintendo to Pretendo in Nimbus.
Maybe this is also relevant. I tried the 3ds emulator Azahar today as well and tried to connect to pretendo. I repeated this a few times, because I made a few mistakes dumping my NAND form my 3ds until I got it working like I wanted.
So now that I think about it, might it be possible that I connected multiple instances of my console to pretendo and that this somehow lead to a ban?

I am going to suggest the fix for the error code 022-5432 (as this seems to be a similar issue)
- Open Nimbus
- Switch to Nintendo
- open eShop
- Switch to Pretendo
- Open Friend List, what friend code do you see?
Thx for suggesting this fix, but it did’t work.
Once I reach step 5 an dopen the Friend List, I get the error again
What happens when you open up Miiverse?
On Miiverse I get a different error: “015-5015”.
That error code means no PNID is linked (expected btw). But it does mean you are semi-connected to Pretendo.
Okay let’s try some more troubleshooting:
- Open Universal Updater
- Search up and re-install Nimbus (no need to uninstall, just reinstall)
Repeat the steps I wrote above:
- Open Nimbus
- Switch to Nintendo
- open eShop
- Switch to Pretendo
- Open Friend List, what friend code do you see?
After following these steps I still get the 001-0802 error when opening the friend list.
Alright. TBH I don’t know how to fix this, but I did forward it to people smarter than myself (other mods and some devs) and hopefully we can get some answers.
OK, so this is getting weird.
I found a backup of one of my earlier Azahar installaton attempts, and it DOES connect to pretendo perfectly.
The newer Azahar versions I tried to create with my real console data all give the error explained above and so does my actual real 3ds.
This does not make sense to me. I thought once Azahar dumps the unique console data, the emulator basically becomes indistinguishable from the real console.
Bit then why does ONE Azahar install work while both my real console and other Azahar dumps (from the same ds) don’t work?

I was able to recover an earlier Version of Azahar that I dumped my console info to, so now I have one version of Azahr that is working, one version of Azahar that is not working and also my real 3ds of course which is also not working.
But I can use the Azahr versions to troubleshoot and I think I found out where the problem lies (not what it is).
So, turns out that the problem is inside this folder:
…\user\nand\data\00000000000000000000000000000000\sysdata\00010032
If I replace this folder on my working Azahar with the one where it’s not working, I get the 001-0802 error code.
All the other nand and sys files do nbot seem to make a difference to my best knowledge.
Hope this helps to fix the issue.
Of course I cannot test on my Real 3ds as easily.
EDIT:
In this folder there is another folder “00000000” and inside this one it looks like this:
Inside both the 1 and 2 folder there are these three files:
I checked them with a hex editor and in both folders, the “mydata” and “account” files differe between the “working” version and the “non-working” version of my Azahar setups.
EDIT: I just did a SysNAND restore with Godmode9 to see if that fixes the problem, but it doesn’t. Still getting the 001-0802 in the Friend List App.
So I don’t really know what else to do. As I said above, there is some version of my NAND dump that works wit Azahar, but I can’t seem to be able to restore it, not even with a NAND backup restoration.
EDIT: Another curious thing I just noticed:
I accidentally started the friend list while Pretendo was deactivated (it was switched to nintendo), and with pretendo activated, my main mii (which is the one linked to my PNID) DID get a friend code!
When wsitching back to pretendo, I get the 001-0802 error again and there is no friend coe, just question marks.
EDIT: I was able to narrow it down to a single file that seems to be the problem:
… \user\nand\data\00000000000000000000000000000000\sysdata\00010032\00000000\2\account
If I copy this file called “account” from my working Azahar installation to my broken Azahar installation, it fixes it. I can connect to pretendo (at least in the Friedn List app)
