Error 118-0201 in Mario Kart 8 and 118-0006 in Splatoon

Good afternoon, when I try to connect to Mario Kart 8 online or Splatoon, I get error codes in the searching, 118-0201 in Mario Kart 8 and 118-0006 in Splatoon. One time I got 106-0105 in Mario Kart 8. These two are the only games I go online.

I am using Inkay 2.6.0, in Aroma, but my router was recently replaced, does it have something to do with that? The router was replaced yesterday… help please.

You should check the NAT Type, just to be sure. [Guide] Detecting your NAT type on Wii U and 3DS consoles

Alright, I just checked the NAT type, it’s F :frowning:
When I check in the router settings, there is no option to do port forwarding or triggering…

Anything I can do about it?

Nothing you can do probably, are you using a mobile connection?

Right now no, and I’ve not tried it yet… for some reason my Wii U (the one thing I’m interested on online play) detects the home WiFi as F and my Switch as B.

So try with my mobile hotspot and see what happens?

You could try with your mobile hotspot but I doubt that’s going to do anything.

Just wanted to check, that’s all

I tried with my mobile hotspot, now it says 220-01 (type D)… i’m trying to connect to mario kart online…

And now I get 118-0516, a new error code! Damn. Thanks anyways.

Alright, I connected a TP-Link thingy idk what it’s called, I had it around in my house unused, to my router and when I set it up it worked. Anyways thanks for the help! Do I mark my post as solution or no?
