Things like console specific communities and unlocking access to communities after playing that specific game should definitely be added. And having console specific communities should help people get into contact with others and make friending easier! Just an idea tho
I don’t even need explaining to say this is a bad idea and many people would be mad if this was made a real thing
Also just to add onto it just one last thing i don’t think you could do this you would have to make some sort of plugin or patch and pretendo aims to be easy when it comes to installing and such

I mean universal updater (and whatever they have on wii u) could have the plugin if they decided to do this

I don’t think this would be fair for everyone. All users should be able to access the communities they want to talk in, and it would be annoying if they couldn’t.
Speaking of the “console-specific communities,” it sounds like a bad idea, however; maybe just a little icon saying “3DS” or “Wii U” to show which console the game is from for each community? I totally dislike the idea of unlocking communities, as that makes such an inconvenience for some people. And for making friending easier, maybe there could be a button on a person’s profile to show their PNID or Friend Code depending on the console, and if you’re on your PC/Phone you can see both (friend codes would only show up if they have a 3DS connected)
