Connection problem

Im having trouble connecting in Pokemon ORAS and X&Y. When i go to connect to the internet in game it stays stuck on the connecting to the internet please do not turn off console screen

No error message not even freezing just necer connects. The only way out is to turn off the wifi on my 3ds. I was wondering if theres something im doing wrong or is that part of the beta?

I believe you have to make some changes in PKHex for it to work properly? I’ll tag @piplupness over here as I’m not familiar with the Pokémon games.

Open your save file with PKHeX and edit your Game Sync ID with any value you want (it should be 0 before you do it)

Because you are doing it wrong, you maybe didnt save in PKHeX and restore that save file via Checkpoint. Anyway here’s the copypaste from the Discord

How to go online in XY and ORAS:

  1. Checkpoint > Backup save > exit
  2. Insert SD card into computer > open PKHeX > File > Open… > 3DS > Checkpoint > Saves > find the file you wish to edit
  3. SAV (found where you can see your party and box Pokémon) > Game Sync ID. Edit that to any number you want
  4. File > Export SAV > same folder where your initial save file is in Checkpoint
  5. Insert SD card into 3DS system > Checkpoint > Restore the Backup

Now you can connect to the internet! Enjoy wonder trading! :smiley:
